The Stars Ice Academy was founded on the belief that figure skating fosters far more than athletic ability. Through training and competition, skaters build discipline, resilience, creativity, responsibility, confidence, leadership, and lifelong goal-setting skills.
Program Overview 2026 - 2027
The Stars Ice Academy welcomes dedicated figure skaters seeking a flexible, integrated program that supports both their athletic and personal goals. Operating throughout the school year, the Academy provides an athletic training program for figure skaters Monday through Thursdays.
The Academy is designed to support each skater's individual training plan. Students can continue working with their primary coaches for private lessons, testing, and competitions or can have The Stars Ice Academy team act as head coach. The Stars Ice Academy enhances skaters development through additional daytime ice sessions, small group instruction, off-ice training, and a schedule that maximizes opportunities for growth.
We proudly welcome skaters from all figure skating clubs. Students may represent Campus Stars FSC and train with members of our coaching staff, or they may continue to represent their home club while working with their existing private coaches. Our staff works collaboratively with each skater's coaching team to ensure The Stars Ice Academy can act as head coach or can support skaters as a support coach. Skaters are also encouraged to continue participating in outside training opportunities, seminars, camps, and synchronized skating teams.
By providing high-quality training opportunities, The Stars Ice Academy provides student-athletes with the time, flexibility, and resources they need to excel both on and off the ice.
Our mission is to create an environment where skaters can pursue their competitive goals while achieving academic success and developing lifelong skills in organization, independence, and personal growth.

Founding Year Discount
$6,800.00
Payments are made through Daysmart and charged over a payment plan.
Enrollment is open throughout the entire year, skaters that join at a later date receive prorated tuition.
Founding year skaters receive the tuition cost of $6,800.00 for 2 full years.

Designs and implements athlete development programming at The Stars Ice Academy for all academy participants.
Coach Lee Cabell is a U.S. Figure Skating Accredited Master Rated Coach in Singles, a Sport and Exercise Scientist with a Doctorate in Biomechanics from the University of Kentucky, a Representative of the Blade Science Technology, a Czechslovak triple gold medalist in figures, freestyle, and dance, a Meditation Instructor certified by the Interdependence Project, and a Dartfish Certified Technician.
Certified school counselor and USFS coach.
Leads Elementary and Middle School after-school confidence groups and enrichment programs.
Sarah Riley utilizes her figure skating background and coaching knowledge to provide support for The Stars Ice Academy athletes.
