The Stars Ice Academy is an innovative athletic program designed specifically for figure skaters seeking a flexible environment that supports both educational achievement and athletic training. The Stars Ice Academy provides student-athletes with access to a training model that successfully integrates academics, athletics, student support, and personal development into a daily program.
The Stars Ice Academy is not a school. Students complete their education through an accredited Pennsylvania Online Charter School, Reach Cyber Charter School, while participating in daily on-ice training, off-ice training, enrichment opportunities, and study hours.
The Stars Ice Academy was founded on the belief that figure skating fosters far more than athletic ability. Through training and competition, skaters build discipline, resilience, creativity, responsibility, confidence, leadership, and lifelong goal-setting skills.
